OUR HISTORY Kansas City Peterbilt, now a part of the Geis Dealer Group, has a rich history dating back to its founding in 1975. Originally established as a local Peterbilt dealership in Kansas City, it was acquired by Leon Geis in 1986. Under the Geis family, the dealership expanded its services to include a variety of commercial vehicle solutions. In 2023, the company underwent a significant rebranding, transitioning from "Kansas City Peterbilt" to Geis Dealer Group, which now encompasses Peterbilt, Utility Trailer, PacLease, TRP Parts, Capacity Trucks, Clement Trailers, Extreme Trailers, and Trailstar Trailers. This strategic shift reflects the company’s commitment to providing broader and more integrated services to its customers. The rebranding allows the group to unify its offerings under one cohesive brand while retaining the trusted relationships and high standards of service it has cultivated over decades. Despite the name change, the company remains dedicated to living its core values.
